Acting COO and AOC Accountable Manager, QantasLink
Adrian has over 30 years in the aviation industry with in excess 10,000 hours of flying experience ranging from aviation training through to high capacity airline operations across Australasia, US and Europe.
He is currently Chief Operating Officer (Acting) and AOC Accountable Manager for QantasLink. Prior to this he was the Head of Flying Operations and Chief Pilot for QantasLink responsible for the airline’s operations.
Adrian’s skill and qualification base is broad and includes safety auditing, investigation, data analytics, risk and project management, international regulatory compliance and standards, training, promotion, education, fatigue management, human factors, human and industrial relations management and recruitment & selection.
External to QantasLink, Adrian holds numerous aviation management appointments and is a member or Chair of various external panels and boards providing aviation advice to government, tertiary institutions, aircraft manufacturers and training organisations.
With a passion for aviation training, Adrian was the architect behind the Qantas Group Future Pilot Program (QFPP) which is designed to provide a sustainable pilot talent pipeline for the Qantas Group. Additionally in 2017 he was appointed to the Qantas Group Pilot Academy project and today is responsible for the operations and student experience in the Academy.
