How to Use Maintenance ROI as a Tool to Boost Profits
Return on Investment (ROI) calculations are much more than numbers which demonstrate the profitability of maintenance training. They are practical management decision tools to address specific issues, such as:
• Frame and engine areas needing the most maintenance training
• The optimal maintenance training by ATA, approach and method
• Timing of training
• The specific skill and knowledge areas in training which are most often applied by maintenance engineers and how much ROI do each generate.
Solid ROI data can answer these questions and help optimize both an air carrier’s maintenance and training strategies.
In addition, this presentation compares the ROI of maintenance training for commercial air carriers and business aviation.
Fresh data will be presented to illustrate all above points.
